Have you ever worked in an environment where the QA team isn't all that tech savvy? Maybe they are tech savvy, but they are lazy and do not like to write up bugs. Perhaps the phrase "Would you come look at this", or "You gotta see this, I can't explain it." sounds all too familiar to you. Well you're in luck, because Microsoft Windows 7 has a new tool that makes it easy for users to record a reproduction of the issue.
So, whats the big deal?
Well firstly, this program is lightweight and non intrusive. Similar to AutoHotKey, one of my favorite development tools. *shameless plug*. It just works without a whole lot of install and configuring. Secondly, it doesn't produce a ginormous video file like other screen recording apps tend to do. It produces a self contained MHT file. For those not familiar with the MHT format, it is a self contained web page in a single file. All the images and links etc are saved within that file.
